Rare Pickelhaube helmet for an officer of the Braunschweiger Infanterieregiment 92, approx. 1900, probably for a purser? of the reserve troops / Landwehr, complete with all fittings, silver-plated, Prussian eagle with large silver-plated star of the house medal (cross arms blue, center red enamelled), underneath reserve cross "mit Gott für Fürst und Vaterland" (with God for prince and fatherland), silver-plated scale chain on rosettes with both cockades, commission spike removable, cross base fixed with screws with star formed heads, inside brown sweat leather and light silk repp, good age-appropriate condition, worn, neck leather shield with minor roughening inside
