Officer’s Presentation Crystal Jug of the Field Artillery Regiment No. 56 with Silver Mount, First Third of the 20th c.
Magnificent pouring jug made of solid, faceted-cut crystal glass, fitted with an 800 silver mount by Wilhelm Müller, Berlin and Schwäbisch Gmünd, featuring a spherical finial. Typical late Art Nouveau design with clear, elegant lines. Engraved inscription: “To our departing comrade Captain Rogge from the officers of the Field Artillery Regiment No. 56 – 22 May 1909 – 18 April 1913.” In good condition consistent with age. Dimensions: 28 × 17.5 × 11 cm (H × W × D).
