HJ Knife with Scabbard, RZM M7/33 by F. W. Holler
Steel, nickel-plated, Bakelite, leather, enameled insignia. An original Hitler Youth (Hitlerjugend) knife from the Third Reich period. The grip features a nickel-plated crossguard and pommel with original ribbed Bakelite grips. The HJ diamond insignia is inlaid into the grip but heavily damaged. The blade is stamped with the RZM logo and manufacturer code “M7/33” for F. W. Holler, Solingen. Accompanied by its black-painted steel scabbard with riveted leather hanger. Age-appropriate worn condition with patina. Length 24.5 cm, blade length 14 cm.
Inspection recommended. The HJ knife served as the official sidearm of the Hitler Youth and was worn by all members. From 1935 onward, distribution was controlled by the Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM), as evidenced by the marking on the blade.
