Elaborate Meissen lidded terrine with fruit knob
white porcelain, around 1930, four grinding marks, crossed swords mark on the base, Magnificent tureen with ornamental handles on both sides. The finely embossed, all-round floral and leaf decoration lends the piece an elegant, sculptural effect. The artfully shaped lid knob, shaped like a sliced citrus fruit, is particularly charming, age-appropriate condition, with firing defects, handle with chip, and stress crack in the base ring, 17 x 33 x 27.5 cm (HxWxD)
