German textile artist and decorative designer, active in the first half of the 20th century, woven wall tapestry made of colored yarn, elongated rectangular format with surrounding border and fringe trim, central depiction of Berlin Cathedral and the Berlin Palace, staffage with pedestrians, automobiles, and horse-drawn carriages in a stylistically typical 1930s depiction, inscribed in Cyrillic with “Berlin”, designed on the occasion of the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, well-preserved colors, good age-appropriate condition with minor signs of wear, 75x170 cm (HxW)
