Bronzed zinc figure of a student in typical uniform with a tunic featuring cord embellishments and officer’s riding boots, worn with a ribbon in the colors green–silver–pink crossing chest and back, wearing a student’s cerevis with a raised laurel wreath motif. In his raised right hand he holds a long lance with stylized tip; in his left, a downward-hanging basket-hilted saber with pronounced handguard. The figure stands on a plinth engraved with an H-Zirkel, mounted on a turned, ebonized wooden base. Tear at the lower end of the sash, generally rubbed surface with age-consistent wear. H. 68.5 cm
