The signature of the swordsmith is engraved on the spine of the blade, standard saber with fuller, open hilt with crossguard, grip covered with ray skin, blade finely etched with decor up to half its length: lion and an eagle with the coat of arms of the German Empire on its chest, rich floral decor, age-appropriate condition, wire wrapping missing, total length 88 cm, blade length 75 cm. Includes a leather scabbard with brass fittings, showing significant signs of wear.
